Simple Homemade Ginger Ale Recipe That Relieves Migraines
A staggering number of people are suffering from migraines. This illness brings pain on one or both sides of the head and the pain is worse than the physical activity. If the migraine is serious, people can also vomit. Migraines are caused by fatigue, stress, hormonal changes and even foods like chocolate and peanuts. The best way to treat them would be by using a natural treatment instead of the drugs which don’t have the desired effect. Here’s a homemade ginger ale recipe which will relieve your migraine:

● 4 cups of water
● 1 cup of ginger (peeled and grated)
● 1 teaspoon of raw honey
● Mineral water
● Lime juice

Boil the water, and add the ginger at the boiling point. Then, lower the heat and let the mix simmer for 5 minutes. At the end, strain it and add the mineral water in the mixture, adding honey and lime juice to taste.

Health benefits of this drink
Dr. Mehmed Oz, MD, and a popular TV personality star says: “Ginger tea is meant to be effective during migraine attacks. It works as an anti-inflammatory agent. Ginger blocks prostaglandins – the chemical messengers that cause a slight swelling in the brain.” The ginger ale drink treats chronic inflammation, pain and migraines. Studies have shown that ginger treats muscle pain, back pain and migraine thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties. You can use ginger in many forms to naturally relieve migraines. Here’s how:

Crush some fresh ginger and put it in water. Boil the ingredients together, and drink the tea while hot. The pain should be gone soon. If you don’t like to drink the tea, inhale the vapors of the ginger tea, or make a paste of dry ginger powder and a little hot water, then apply it on your head.
Note: as always, before trying a natural remedy for any issue, consult your doctor first.
