Generally, while we work or we are in a rush we opt for the drive thru fast food restaurant where we snatch our favorite meal and drink. But have we ever considered how are those meals made? Every one of us have read or heard about the components in the fast food meals but here we give you the most awful ones which will shock you and make you question your decision next time when you go for fast meal.

Duck Feathers:

There is a rumor that McDonald’s hamburgers contain cow eyeballs. Although, this is not verified. Another thing which is proven is that products from Baked Hot Apple Pie have duck feathers or at least some ingredient derived from it.

Pink Slime:

If you think that every time when you consume McNuggets you actually eat chicken let us break that belief with telling you that those nuggets contain mixture of bones and chicken remains and an ingredient know as pink clime. These ingredients you won’t normally eat because the pink slime consists ammonia and small amount of petroleum.

Silly Putty plastic:

McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish and fries and nearly anything deep-fried in a fast food restaurant contains Dimethylpolysiloxane. This is a type of silicone which is normally used in toys but also prevents the frying oil not to foam so it is generally used in all fast food restaurants. Let’s not begin mentioning how highly dangerous it is for your overall health.

Wood (cellulose).

Wood pulp after being processed is used almost in everything. This ingredient also known as cellulose is the fast food restaurants is used to stabilize foods, replace fat and boast fiber content.

Petroleum-derived preservatives (TBHQ). Tertiary butylhydroquinone (TBHQ) which is derived from petroleum is also used in processed food. McDonald’s actually utilizes it in 18 products ranging from its Fruit and Walnut Salad to Griddle Cakes to McNuggets.

Soil fertilizer (ammonium sulfate)

Ammonium sulfate is listed on the bakery products as “yeast food for bread”.

The amount of fast food chains raises every day and more and more people are caught up in that machine. It is supposed that in the last year few years more than 200 billion dollars are spent on fast food. The food industry is slowly killing us and making money out of it.
